At Propertifix, we simplify the process for you by acting as your repair and restoration partner from day one—ensuring accurate documentation, timely communication, and quality repairs.

✅ STEP-BY-STEP INSURANCE JOB PROCESS



Step 1: Initial Consultation Call (Free)
• We begin with a discovery call to understand the nature of the damage, when it occurred, and whether a claim has already been filed.
• We’ll explain how the process works, what’s covered, and how we’ll assist in documentation and communication with your insurance company.



Step 2: On-Site Inspection & Written Estimate (Cost: $149)
• We schedule an on-site walkthrough.
• Our technician will assess:
• Type and extent of damage (e.g., water, fire, wind)
• Safety concerns
• Urgency of repairs
• You’ll receive:
• A line-item written estimate
• Photos and documentation for your claim file
• A scope of work that reflects industry-standard pricing (Xactimate, Simsol formats available if needed)



Step 3: Insurance Communication Support
• If your claim is in process or needs to be filed, we can:
• Help you communicate clearly with your adjuster
• Explain the estimate and scope of work
• Provide supplemental documentation for any missed items
• Follow up with your adjuster as needed (with your permission)



Step 4: Approval & Deposit
• Once your adjuster approves the claim:
• We’ll finalize the scope
• You sign a repair contract
• Initial deposit is collected to begin work (can be your deductible or insurance disbursement)
• If supplements are needed, we’ll submit them and pause work until approved.



Step 5: Repair Scheduling
• We assign a dedicated project manager and schedule the trades (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, paint, etc.)
• You receive a repair schedule and timeline
• We provide daily updates and keep disruptions to a minimum



Step 6: Completion & Final Walkthrough
• All work is completed to your satisfaction and building code.
• You’ll walk through the job with us to confirm quality and resolution.
• Any final insurance paperwork is submitted, and if needed, we’ll assist with depreciation recoveries (holdbacks).



Step 7: 1-Year Guarantee & Optional Maintenance Plan
• All work is covered by our 1-year satisfaction guarantee
• We offer monthly maintenance plans to protect your home from future issues
